Evening my dear readers (mostly consisting of my lovely family and friends!). I’m going to write this post with many exclamation marks, because I want to end on a happy note and someone (you know who you are!) once told me that I needed to use them more liberally! I’m also writing this with very mixed feelings, because although I was the worst, most inconsistent blogger ever in the entire universe, I absolutely loved the moments when I did sit down and write my little vignettes and recipes to share with you all.
It’s been a long time since the last post and I’ve kindly been asked by many when that next post is coming. However (deep breath), I have made the decision to let this baby go and make room for something new, and something that I hope will have greater momentum than this did! In any case, I shall keep writing and cooking and travelling, with Baby G in tow, all the crazy mixed-up lingo in my head and the biggest smile I can muster (even in Milan where I’ve been told my smiliness is wasted … I beg to differ!).
I’ll keep the blog up a little longer for those of you who actually make some of this stuff, but if you ever are in dire need of that Guac recipe, I can be contacted on this daggy old hotmail address: email@example.com. (That’s a double underscore … apparently there’s some other Colombian drug lord named Danielle Dominguez out there!).
I can’t thank you enough for all of your beautiful comments and encouragement over these past 7 years, and for investing in the kooky characters and stories of my world. May you all have many happy eating and travelling days, and embrace new experiences with open hearts and minds.
